The Jurassic series has sucked for the last quarter-century, because it was a premise that was only sustainable for one movie and they made that movie already, it was called Jurassic Park.

Eh, it was one good movie followed by a couple diminishing returns sequels. By Beverly Hills Cop III the franchise had clearly run out of steam, and I think most people were content to let it die and move on.

I know the popularized (maybe even original) story was by a Danish author and the animated movie featured white people, but the idea of setting this story in a Caribbean-like setting and having a diverse cast almost makes too much sense.

Let’s be honest, too: there’s only so far you can take a donut. After that the returns not only diminish, but actually start negatively impacting said starch torus.

But there is a real reason why people in Boston and surroundings are fond of them and often prefer them to “artisianal” donuts made by hipsters.
