you should buy it when, instead of relying on my shitty word game, you think that selling isnt always legal, despite carlin's clever wording. selling narcotics is not legal, selling children is not legal, selling eagle feathers is not legal. happy?

shooting is legal. people are legal. why isnt shooting people legal?

time to learn a little propositional logic- comic says chatbot is a burning man attendee. you say burning man attendees are chatbots. this does not follow, logically. [en.wikipedia.org]

hahahhahhaha

no my point was that there may be recourse, but i made no qualitative statement as to the likelihood of recovery.

then spend so much time on it that your wife divorces you and your kids hate you, then a meteor falls on your house and crushes your legs, forcing you to live a life of shame and regret.

if you pay for $9k worth of stuff, you probably arent using cash. if you're using paypal or a check or something not stupid like western union, chances are you have a name, and the kind of info you can use to find someone. sure, its a lot of trouble, but at the same time we're talking about nine thousand dollars.

those look pretty sweet!

its funny right? i've run mine way past the 100km part and theyre holding up great. also, the price point is just right, so really while nike figured we'd be spending more in the long run, they probably made a shoe that was too good and too cheap.

hence the "if he can find him" bit and the implication that some more readily traceable form of compensation may have been used.

you get used to the bright orange... they get a lot of looks on teh street hehehe

this is a legally correct analysis, except that the purchaser now has a cause of action against the thief, if he can find him. presumably, one doesnt buy 9k worth of stolen shit in cash, and if one does, one is a mighty suspicious fellow..

sign me up! i'm buying one as soon as they come out, this thing will be a wonder paired with some manual german glass... mmmmmmmm

i've got no credentials to stand on, but my take is knowing tech doesnt mean knowing the tech business, or business in general for that matter

jesus you have no idea what you're talking about.
