Goddammit! I was really hoping this was wrong. Can we blame Trump for this somehow?

Inverting the premise, because everything scares me (I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and doggone it, people like me!) the movie that wasn't supposed to be scary that ended up scaring the shit out of me was Jurassic Park. I still can't watch the raptors in the kitchen scene. I didn't think "People under the Stairs"

I'm going to make a case for My Occurance/Hero/Screwup being the best of this series and why it worked on so many levels. It's well acted powerful storytelling for a lot of reasons, but I've seen a lot of comments here about how the end of My Screw Up caught people, and even people who don't normally get "caught."

I'm down to one spritz…..

Which takes on a whole other level of mean after you see the Jay Mohr episode, who she is presumably referencing in that joke.

Sorry, KK, got nothing but love for you. Your Orbitz Spaniards story will never stop bringing a tear to my eye and a stitch to my side.

Whenever people ask which medical show is the most realistic, I always say Scrubs. The look of confusion and horror never gets old.

Well played, sir/madam, well played.

Scrubs began the same year I started medical school. Damned if that show didn't grab ahold of me and not let go for its entire run. I loved ER, but of all the medical themed shows, Scrubs had the most realistic body count, and was the most realistic about what we in the profession are/aren't capable of. Everybody

My favorite Spacey moment in the movie, barely hiding a shit eating grin, "She IS Lana Turner." Sploooosh!

So, let me get this straight. We had a show with the Devil, Dracula, a reincarnated goddess, 3 immortals and 2 werewolves who never really fought each other. I feel a little cheated. You can't tell me that John Clare wouldn't have happily ripped a few vampires apart and kept Dracula more realistically busy than 4

I, too, was disappointed that we didn't get to see the end result of Dizzy's night in SoHo beyond the fact that he got Mylene a record deal. I'm really hoping those chickens will come home to roost next season when Thor comes to a get down. That's going to get awkward. What drug did the hottie with the gold beret

I also find it odd that the reviewer doesn't seem to see what Annie is doing to Shao as sexual assault. He's no more willing a participant than Jackie is. Both are in it (literally and figuratively) because powerful women hold the key to what they need. Both scenarios are extremely squicky for our modern

This one really should contain a dead mom warning. It kicks repeatedly in the feels balls. I've always found Bryce Dallas Howard to be a bit of an ice princess, just really inaccessible emotionally in her previous roles, but they did a great job of softening her to the point that I think she, not Pete is the

I see your point. I think that Dory makes things harder just as often as she succeeds, which is why I didn't read her arc the same way you did. For me, this is just as much Marlon's story and how he learns to think like Dory in order to try to help her. I think that Inside Out had more of that middle ground ending

Dory doesn't do everything right, but she keeps trying, which the point children with disabilities need to hear. No, we don't know that everything is going to be "alright." It may not always work, but if you don't try, nothing will. That goes for all children, not just disabled children. Disney is pretty good

THe emotional punch of Finding Nemo/Dory is relating to Marlin/Jenny/Charlie as the parent of a disabled child and being terrified for them and not knowing how to help them/parent them. If that doesn't speak to you, maybe take a second to be grateful for that and let the rest of us deal with our shit without

Hell yeah.

So, I know this could be a land mine of sorts, but where does "Chasing Amy" fit into this? It's a comedy, one of the leads is on the gayer side of bisexual. Is it just too confusing to try to categorize?

My nice paragraph has been taken down. So, me saying this humanizes Prince was somehow offensive? WTF, AVclub?
