This is a fun watch, and I think it really humanizes Prince in a way that is different from the other tributes. And even though KS ends the story a bit huffy over the experience, you can hear the reverence and awe in his voice as he tells it, even when he's upset. The follow up Fatman on Batman remembrance is made

That's correct, your honor, this cast has no dick.

I'm sure he's just going to pretend she's Quentin and let the good times roll. I loved how salty Penny was at not getting to hit that. "I'm gonna haunt the shit out of him."

He managed to trap and keep Ember imprisoned, so she knows he can trap a god. Martin is going to help for now because she's holding the knife that can kill him, but we'll see how long that lasts. It's risky as hell.

He and Margo love each other, clearly, but not in that way. There was a lot more sexual tension between Q and Eliot than Margo and Eliot. Granted, he's never said he's guys only, but this just smacks of terrible decision making made possible by profound depression/identity crisis.

I think she thinks that Martin (Beast) can help her find Reynaud. Summoning/hunting a God is not something she is going to try half blind again.

SHe had the knife to his throat and could have ended it right there, thus preventing him from killing anyone else. But based on the way the show presented her flashbacks, I think she's banking on her newly acquired powers to be able to defeat the beast when she's gotten what she wants.

I'm assuming the show isn't so tone deaf as to have Eliot's thoughts on the matter be, "Hey, maybe if I just marry this stranger and get her knocked up, I'll be happy." There has to be more to this, right? That seems like the kind of plot you leave dangling for a week for the audience to stew over, not the summer

Ok, so the "source of Fillory's Magic" is the whiskey decanter, right? I mean, if an Englishman is going to have to drink something everynight, he's probably going to disguise it as scotch. So do you suppose it will be Margo or Eliot that slams one back and figures it out?

I'm so upset that they straight-washed my king of queens that I can't even process the rest of the episode. Aside from pointing out that if Quentin is calling you out as a whiny bitch, well, he'd know.

I hate this guy's stand up with the fire of a thousand suns. Should I still try the show?

Not having read the books, all I see is what I see.

Ok, Whipped Cream and Other Delights was Herb Alpert and the Tiajuanna Brass, wasn't it? Henry Mancini wrote the Pink Panther theme amongst other gems? Are you guys just checking to see if anyone is actually reading these?

I'll concede that making Quentin feel as bad as she did in that moment probably was a perk for her, but I don't think it was at the top of the list of why she did it. And yes, it all happened very quickly, which makes it even harder to guess at character motivations. But the show has Had a few plots that pointedly

She didn't seek Penny out and seduce him. He came to her, he empathized with her, complimented her, made her feel better. Alice has saved Penny a few times, they've bonded. As soon as she realized she wanted Penny and Penny wanted her, why should she let Quentin's feelings stop her? You seem angry that Alice acted

She didn't sleep with Penny to punish Quentin. She slept with Penny because he's unbelievably hot, told her he respects her and genuinely wanted to help her feel better. She slept with him because Quentin hurt her, not to hurt Quentin. Try to see the difference.

I can't believe no one else has mentioned it, but I don't see anyone. Plus the blue in the chemistry set. I knew it was a BB reference even before they threw out the Walt/Jesse name.

Nope, not enough chest hair. Common AV club, don't make us beg.

I'm going to have to rewatch the beginning tomorrow because I couldn't have the volume up for the first 20 min, but I'm miffed we didn't get to see Alice and Penny "getting through the next hour." What a great euphemism. Margo's, "You don't get to be mad because you got to have sex with me." Cold, baby, cold.

If you think that's a spoiler, the Internet must be a really distressing place for you.
