i would argue that if an actor noone had heard about 5 years making one post online is enough to keep you from getting vaccinated you weren’t going to get vaccinated. i have my doubts she caused any real harm to anyone except her own career.

In their simplistic worldview, a pregnant person should just marry and their economic problems are solved. If a child becomes pregnant and dies or is seriously maimed, that’s sad but no different…

Abortion is an economy issue. Knowing that an accidental pregnancy can ruin you is a pretty big economic issue.  It’s also a crime issue.  Knowing that a twelve year old could be forced to give birth, that’s a big safety issue.

The only way I’ll believe that they had “no idea” how banning abortion was going to work against them is if they truly believed that four years of MAGA was enough to turn people more conservative and anti-choice.
