When I was on my HOA board for a few years I was all about reminding people that we could disolve if things got to wild. I also lobbied for having the gates taken down. 

This is one of my favorite comedies ever. I was so lucky to grow up with a VCR and this (and The Court Jester). 

“Weasel” is underused as an insult and I’m pleased to see it here because it is perfect for Stone. 

If there isn’t a paper trail that can be followed by the average high school graduate it’s not going to do a thing. 

I can no longer wear heels because of a back injury and it is bliss. And when people comment on my “comfortable shoes” I don’t mention the injury I just say “yeah, I just don’t see the point of blinding pain anymore.”

I think Patricia had suspicions but wasn’t going to accuse anyone of anything just in case she’s the one with the dirty mind. 

I seriously worry about how many people are driving while in that fuzzy need-to-eat stage. 

The Big Short is kind of a heist movie, sort of? It just has to work harder to explain how the heist works. Either that or it’s about conning the con artist except it’s not a con. 

This will be very interesting to watch - I’ve just finaly realized that I’m allergic to two of the most common sunscreen ingredients* which has seriously limited what I’ll buy.

There’s a real tendency to have Native people show up in mainstream media only in opposition to something else, ususally something that’s being positioned as mainstream. Edit to add: this is a fault of the mainstream media, not Native people. 

No kidding. A woman I grew up with had one of those touch-and-go births where they very nearly lost both her and the baby. That’s the kind of situation where you want to be able to refer to the document - that and not getting the professional photos and whatnot.
