I was really suprised by where his email ended up going - to me letting go of the “we all have to be the same” thing means less edgelording and more communing. But, then again, I’m a lady and we’re not only allowed to be like that we’re pretty much required to.

Particularly when certain mental illnesses are very, very prone to causing over-exercising and under-eating.

Used to domesticate the wolf! All we had to do was throw the stick and history changed.

Thank you! That sort of book is right up my alley.

I love those weird, broad “The History of Spoons” books but it seems the standards for what gets printed isn’t quite as strict as it was at the beginning. Some of the more recent ones are more like very long Cracked articles than serious non-fiction.

That picture up top does feel a little “wolves corner a baby elk”.

This feels so Sacramento - when it’s an individual the Powers That Be know and care about there’s understanding but nothing gets done about structural injustice.

I kind of wish they’d use a different picture of him. I know it’s the one that is most associated with him, but he’s done so much more than just this one moment.

Same! I want him to be happy and successful and I want him to be professionally fulfilled but I don’t think this is the way for that to happen. No one wins here.

I was thinking “homemade bumper sticker” but that’s a good take too.

I noticed that too - You’ll note he didn’t say “I personally believe that being LGBTQ is not a sin” or anything else that would make his LGBTQ coworkers feel better about him.

Oooh - I think living above a UPS store might be second only to living above a 7-11.

And those paper labels do NOT want to go.

I would love this just to see the Davis residents try to find a way to say they don’t want Raiders fans in their city without actually saying it out loud.

Okay, but the raiders fans I know would love the post-apocalyptic feel of that.

Sunday was arm day for just that reason. I love my leg machines and they are absolutely necessary when my back is giving me trouble. But apparently someone was so attached to doing his massive, massive weight sets of, like, two, with 10 minutes in between each set, meant I didn’t get to use it. I’m less mad about the
