Awesome article. It’s always nice to read reflective and thoughtful words on skateboarding, and I really love to see it here. Well done, sir!

Honest question here... why do you think he looks like a jackass for responding? I imagine that it gets incredibly tiresome dealing with negativity and hatred from opposing teams’ fans, and it seems like he didn’t lash out or embarrass himself during this interaction. How would you expect or wish him to respond?
I’m certainly biased, but I think he brings a positive and unique representation to NBA players, and I like him a lot.
That’s the perfect and sensible explanation I’ve been needing but has been eluding me until now. Thank you. 👍
Oh man I love this idea so much I feel like I can mentally force it into realization and somehow this perfect storm will become the catalyst that is needed not only for the NFL but for the nation and somehow everything will be right and just for all ...
Oh wow, I love this write up for so many reasons. Honesty: check! Self deprecation: check! Appreciation and acknowledgment of reality (expectations, effectiveness of products, cost versus value) in respect to personal hygiene products: check! I’m probably thinking about all of this way too much, but I really enjoyed…
I think you hit the nail on the head when you talked about his supporters debasing themselves. This is a specific group of voters that complain (and are incensed) about being disregarded, ignored, and “forgotten” by democrats, liberals, mainstream media, and “the swamp” that they think is DC and politics in general.…
Ooh, well said. As a Blazers fan, last night’s game was hard to watch, and I think you just articulated a big part of the reason why. Giannis has superhuman abilities and I wish I had even a fraction of them, especially when I have to reach for things in my taller cabinets. Sadly my superpower is only a small stool.

Ok cool well, if you ever decide to have chickens again “out of view of nosy neighbors” then maybe recognize that they are indeed chickens, and because of their domestication need a responsible caretaker who will ensure that they are confined to a coop when the temperature drops to -30 degrees outside. Is this such a…
I’m sorry; you’re absolutely right. I was rude for no meaningful reason, and I’m sorry for that. I won’t make excuses for being a (poorly opinionated) asshole, and will try to be less of one going forward.
Hey, you’re absolutely right. I was an unnecessary asshole in my comment. I’m not going to make excuses for it, and I think it’s appropriate that you called me out. The world is already too full of shitty people, and I optimistically think that I’m not one, but I can recognize when I behave poorly, so I apologize.
So this is a real, honest, cry for help. I wake up every morning, look at major news headlines, quickly check emails, and respond to anything “urgent” before 7:00am and before I actually get out of bed.
Wait, what? Who pleaded guilty to child sex trafficking and how the hell did I miss this??
Oh wow. I want to vomit up some comment about first world problems, but I feel like that even doesn’t quite encompass the self-obsessed and shallow viewpoint of the letter writer (and her butthole).
Excellent statement (provided by legal representatives who likely have studied/ earned degrees from universities other than the University of Florida) that avoids Winston actually speaking for himself.
Hmmm; I don’t know, but maybe you didn’t “love” your backyard chickens? Maybe not have chickens in an area that gets to -30 degrees? Think before you become responsible for the well being of animals on your property? Not judge “nosy” neighbors who perhaps would not like to continue to look into your yard and see…
Wow! You have some strong steak views, and I absolutely respect that. But leave skirt steak out of it! It’s an amazing cut that has endless potential, both on the grill and on a cast iron pan. Leave the marinade out of it, because while it’s definitely appreciated in certain preps, it’s not always needed. I can say…
There are so many aspects of this post to comment on... but the use of “chud” is perhaps my favorite. This is a massively underused term, and I applaud bringing it back to the forefront.
