Thank you. I am a middle-aged white male and I am fucking terrified for every person I know, including myself.

Texas has the largest Muslim population in the US. I wish people would stop being surprised that there are good, decent, enlightened, progressive people here. But I get it, the nutjobs are the loudest and make us look bad.

It made me happy to see how many lawyers rushed to the airports to start doing pro-bono work for these people. And the protesters who came out to show the world that not everyone agrees with whatever 45 is doing.

Canadian airlines are pro-actively helping those affected by this to change flights, destinations, etc, at no extra cost to the passenger. Nicely done

And what really bothers these white people is that Honeysuckle Lenin is treating them like the rest of us. That’s what irks them.

Mid-terms are only two years away: we need to do everything we can to shift the balance of power in the House and the Senate, both at the national and federal levels. We’ve got to get out the vote.

Keep an eye on Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska (she hates the far right of her party, which almost took her out and she’s pro gay marriage and not at all a loon) and Sen. Susan Collins of Maine (a social liberal and pro choice). I can’t imagine they’d go along with any of this. They can still pass this with Mike Pence…
