Couldn't it be that Letts attitude is actually spitting on women who actually go through this with sincere grief. Isn't she doing more harm than good to her own cause?

Well, if it is foreign owned, then i guess there could be a scenario where all operations be moved out of the country if that serves the owners business. In this case, being seen as "American" is one of the selling points of the brand, so I don't see it very likely to ever happen.
