They use scent dogs to find pot in high school kids lockers. If you like the smell, that is all well and good. But it does have a distinctive odour. I had to sleep at my friends most of my first semester at university because of a pot-head on our floor who didn't use a spoof or crack a window.

If you don't like the smell, and have a fairly sensitive snoot, it can be pretty unpleasant.
