It's such a curious choice to put the joke in the middle of the three instead of at the end. (I spend way too much time obsessing about the minutia of Simpsons jokes like this.)

I've never heard a queer person make a joke about non-queer people as a whole, no. It's almost exclusively the other way around. And even if they did, the two are not equivalent.

Also: What gay comedians have ever made jokes making fun of straight people?

If someone was making any kind of porn version of Jurassic Park, they better make use of the ass in the middle of the name.

I haven't seen Jennifer's Body, but isn't it already self-consciously trying to be campy in a way Little Shop of Horrors and Reefer Madness aren't? Wouldn't that ruin it a little?

Given that he mentions the double entendre of the title, which I didn't get until this moment, it seems like he knows it.

I spent a long time at a couple of very conservative colleges, and my first step towards loosening the smarter students up and getting them ready for weirdo movies was almost always Being John Malkovich. It always got a great reaction.

Oh man, Moving. As a fan of Seven Second Delay, I've heard about that movie so much, but I have too much respect for Andy to actually watch it. Probably.

One of the things that keeps surprising me when I watch The Thick of It: Over there, if you're poor, you're more likely to be on the liberal side!

I'm almost starting to be impressed with the AV Club commentariat's commitment to complaining about Lena Dunham in every single article's comments, no matter the original subject.

Yeah, that burp is a real turn-on.

If Shirley's not obnoxious about her faith I don't see how a person could be short of actively burning heretics.

Is there an equivalent moment to Lecter on the phone saying "I'm going to have an old friend for dinner" at the end of Silence, or does he just disappear?

And that cane!

And the guy who drinks martinis made with the tears of orphan children, yes.

Oh, you're right - it was from Silence.

I noticed there seemed to be repurposed lines, which I recognized from Manhunter, although I assume they're from the book.

4:44 was global warming, I think, what with all of the conversation about Al Gore.

Oh come on, that's not even close to being true. I barely ever see anyone praising Girls outside of the Girls reviews, but practically every single comment thread for an even vaguely negative article features at least one person complaining that anyone dare criticize [x] when you praise Girls.

"Most of you mofos are all about Girls and Helix, so stand down."
