No one is accusing anyone of thought crimes, whatever that’s even supposed to mean. The point is that whatever the director was feeling and thinking in his head is irrelevant. The subtext of what he put on film is ill advised at best and a bad look, if you ask me. 

Nah. He’s right. This film’s subtextual messaging is deeply fucked up. Also, it’s just not a very good movie. 

I was so excited to see this film after the buzz coming out of fall festivals and it was a big ole hot mess. 

I love that video of the New DuckTales cast singing the themesong so much. Sometimes I watch it to cheer myself up. 

That’s why I said “some” and not “all.” Duh.
