I really don’t give a shit about seeing Apu, since I haven’t watched the show in a decade. But it would feel vindictive on the show’s part to me if the it killed him off in response to people (rightfully) critiquing their depiction.

I paid very close attention. It is a poorly written film. Thuddingly plotted. Bad dialogue. Idiotic narrative. I don’t think it’s dangerous. People who said that are morons. It is far too bland and dull to be anything but completely forgettable.

I just think it’s a bad movie. I don’t think it’s a dangerous one. It’s way too stupid to be dangerous. I also don’t give a shit who likes it. Good for anyone who does. Enjoy!

Jennifer Lopez and Lupita Nyong’o absolutely deserve nominations in supporting and lead respectively. Period. Eddie Murphy deserves a nomination more than Jonathan Pryce.

Luke had been a flawed character since day one and that's what made him so endearing. The idea that he became Superman Jesus after RotJ is ridiculous. His flaws still exist. He's grown and gotten better over the arc of the three OT films. But he doesn't end them as a perfect being. He ends them as human as he has ever Read more
