Oh, no. It’s some bastardized Western version written by people who penned such gems like “Cars 3" and “GI Joe: Rise of Cobra” And did they really whitewash Saori and Mitsumasa Kido? Did we learn nothing from “Ghost in the Shell”?

Ah, I see that we’re getting “Saint Seiya: Evolution” now
006 and Xenia Onatopp Goldeneye reunion!
Would like to see Picasso’s Guitar Player decubed playing some Alice In Chains. Might be worth the price.
Dune made enough money to get a sequel greenlighted immediately, so it’s a success, if not a No Way Home-sized one.
That’s was a real ensemble cast though, so nobody really was a “lead.”
Only one: 1932's Grand Hotel. It won Best Picture and was not nominated in any other category, which is kind of insane when you consider that its cast included Greta Garbo, John and Lionel Barrymore, and Joan Crawford!
Wow it Kinja’d that!
Encanto is going to take best Animated, but it should go to Mitchel, which was an unexpected delight.

There is more slots for Best Picture than Best Director. Del Toro also wasn’t nominated.
There’s at least 5 movies receiving nominations here that I haven’t even heard of before today, a couple more that I’d heard of only mere weeks ago. But I’m not sure if this means I’m out of touch, or the Oscars are...
How can they nominate a film for Best Picture and not also nominate it for Best Director? Not that I think Dune deserves either but it just seems weird.
Given the Academy’s outright hatred of anything even moderately related to diversity, its support of any kind of racism is no surprise.
Pig was a better screenplay and better directed than the overblown remake of Bart's Comet.
It's a shame to see Licorice Pizza get nominated after the accent BS. I guess the Academy is fine with anti-Asian racism.
Huh?
I would normally say that because it’s a streaming service-only movie and not one that was on the big screen. Having watched it, though, I thought it was a wickedly satiric film that deserves to be in the running. Anyway, to each their own. Have a great day!
Thrilled to see Flee getting so much love!!!
I read Dawnshard in November 2020, in ebook form. It is just now getting a dead tree format release or something?
