Angel had some of the best villains ever written in a Whedon production. The puppets were the creepiest and evilest villains I ever remember in the Buffyverse - the moment they torture and kill the former puppeteer (who, by the way, was played by David Fury, the producer of the show and of Buffy and the mustard man

For me Jenny Calendar’s death was one of the saddest of all Buffy deaths, close only to Joyce’s and Buffy’s.

The following episode, “Shells”, is even greater, with Illyria finding she lost everything, and the flashback of Fred leaving home. I always loved the recurring theme of Angel, hopelessness, people who lost everything, lost the will and joy to live, and are just trying to survive in this miserable world together and

I think the problem is that too many fantasy writers like to base their high fantasy worlds on real life civilizations of the past like Roman Empire and

It better be a Swedish horror cult film!

No remains of pixie dust on the region though. Must have been a blue rinse bombing by the Lower Elements Police.

Maybe she found your drawing jaundicophobic.

And since AUTO is the God of Axiom’s twisted Paradise and WALLE-E is AUTO’s greatest adversary it makes sense that WALL-E is Satan, the adversary, but not the evil - the villain, the embodiment of evil in the end is God/AUTO, who abhors the freedom of its humans.

You reminded me of Spinoza’s pantheistic concept of god.

Also, he has been over-roasted.

Since Marvel and Star Wars are now part of the same company, I don’t doubt you.

So...Mesklinites on Mesklin? Ha, I knew that Hal Clement had some inside information! (or...outside information!)
