Well yes, they pretty much showed that to us last episode when in her memory Nick first didn't have an eye and then got erased from the picture. Interestingly she might remember Monroe, but not Nick - in that same memory they were all having dinner at the same time.

I think she meant that he is a bastard prince - an illegitimate child of a king or something. If all the families are part human then they wouldn't have started WWII since their belief in blood purity would have been rather strange. I don't see full humans being anywhere in the vessen hierarchy. It is interesting

why couldn't they fire off a few rounds of loaded statements?

I don't see how he could control infrasound - it has to be coming from somewhere. Therefore he has to be emitting it.

A pretty solid episode. I found myself looking at the changes between first season and the second. There are two, and they aren't very good.

The infrasound thing, I think. That's about it - at least as far as we know.

Also, here is Lord of the Rings from the perspective of the orcs. They were a young and thriving technological culture fighting against ancient magic and stodgy superstitions. Unfortunately they lost, and LOTR was a story written by the victors:

He got better.

Slim pickings for sci-fi fans. The only ones I am really looking forward to are Fringe, Robot Chicken, Arrow, and Last Resort. Some sound and look just awful.

Although non-SAC movies are rather bleak IMHO. I would much rather live in the SAC world than in the movie world.

Yup. Basically we will get software health insurance.

You need something to drive the story. That's why "they all lived happily ever after" is at the end, not at the beginning. If everything is awesome then there is no impetus for action or even events.

LOL. That, or introduce a self-evolving security system that randomly mutates the software within certain parameters. And be sure to use multiple firewalls and security systems.

Agreed - it was gorgeous, with great visuals. In that way it's a bit like Prometheus.

???????? The one where they used oxygen to try to put out the fire?

Considering all the scientific problems with Sunshine, I wouldn't call this a moment of wonder. This was near the very end. By then I was too annoyed. I mean really, in what universe do you put out a fire by feeding it more oxygen???

Agreed. It seems like Moffat is not very good at designing large story arcs or giving direction to the entire show. He is great when somebody else gives him direction, but not the other way around. Not to mention that he doesn't understand what science fiction is, and is quite happy to turn Dr. Who into "syfy"

I completely and utterly disagree with every single thing you just said. About Enterprise and about Dr. Who.

Enterprise got better in the last season after the new producer showed up. Manny Coto gave us way better stories and less of that Xindi crap.

Good point - it's an awesome show and I would love to mention that & comment stuff. The addition of the new Taskmaster character is an excellent idea.
