This is the biggest difference about the two companies. Porsche, under-promise, over-deliver. Tesla, promise the moon, deliver pizza sometime in the next 2-4 years after you have put down your deposit.

Porsche has always been conservative with its figures. Tesla just makes bold claims and delivers on half of them.

My point was actually about how the interior is used as a talking point by the journalists covering it.

I can make hydrogen at my house. Could you imagine what it would take to produce gasoline at your house? Your statement is not a fair assessment.

So he signs with a Chevrolet team, and if he wins - or even completes race distance and is in the running - Honda eats a little more shit. Win win?

Doesn’t look angry? We’ll see about that.

It doesn’t look angry. We only buy pissed off cars here.

Yep. I see a lot of potential for FE but the street courses are so dinky and tight half of them feel like glorified go-kart tracks.

There was a way to share this news without being an asshole about it.

I was surprised to learn that 346,639 Minis were sold (to whom?) last year

Except MINIs are good. In a sea of near-identical jellybeans... they’re a refreshing injection of personality and fun.

America is getting a great deal! The UK Miata retails over 31k USD with a 1.5L engine.

You ever look under a Miata? This isn’t a bargain parts bin car. It’s a well engineered car with the adjustability of a race car, with all the features anyone would need, while maintaining a curb weight that nearly matches its former self of 30 years. For ~$30k it's a steal.

That'll fix their sales. Another antiquated engine that costs more than others complete motorcycle.

They just need a to create a separate event called “Curbs and Mustangs”.

Again, thanks fletch. At the end of the day, I couldn’t agree more with you here!

Alanis saved my life more than anyone will ever know, providing much needed backup for Jalopnik’s racing coverage when I really, really needed it. Trying to keep an eye on all the racing series all the time was exhausting as the only person here who was paying close attention to it, and being able to trade off weekend

You’re arguing with a Brooklynite for whom the occasional drive around Manhattan is a hipster act of rebellion. Like owning a tv, but doing it ironically...

Meanwhile in the Lone Star State...

Frankly, your statement above, along with all your other writings on unions, leads me to believe that there is no argument anyone could make that could away you. You’ve made up your mind, and shut down any objectivity regarding the subject.
