BMI scoring is correct about 80-percent of the time. Overweight and obese persons use the “fitness loophole” to avoid coming to grips with their own excessive weight. Note that overweight and obese persons always claim that the scale is broken, the calipers are incorrect, the tape measure is wrong. It is never ending.

Considering that in any given year 1-out of-210 obese men or 1-out of-124 obese women will manage to lose enough to be considered normal weight this (the global obesity epidemic) is completely insurmountable.
