Autopilot in practice is definitely a letdown, but I don’t know if you could call it unsafe. if anything, its too tentative and tries to change lanes in a confounding manner, but not in a dangerous way, more like in an oblivious grandma kind of way.

my humidifier display makes a sad face (literally) when the humidity is below 40 or 45% so its designers thought it was too dry also.

I didn’t even know about it and I usually follow these kinds of announcements, so I wonder if that was part of the general issue.

if we ever get our charging infrastructure up to snuff, no one will ask “how far does it go on before it needs a charge?” Instead we will ask, “how quick will it charge.” once these level 3 charges get common, people should be about to get all the charge they need in 10-20 minutes. then it doesn’t matter as much.
