My Tesla would give me a collision warning most days I pulled in and backed out of my super narrow driveway. Not unique to Tesla, my current car also beeps up a storm every day. But I’m also not getting scored for it.

I’ll tell you why bc it happened to me. 2 kids equals 2 car seats. Suddenly I am faced with removing a car seat to lay the back seats down to carry certain cargo. And I do this a lot (multiple times per week) as a musician hauling gear.
every time i bring this up, tesla fanbois say i’m lying, but this is a fact.
the installer also probably has insurance for that
its also cheaper at the top trim with probably a better resale.
I am dying to drive a large wagon instead of an SUV for a family car. I shopped this car and got to the price and I was like oh....oh. nevermind. simply not competitive in the segment.
i personally wouldn’t buy another car without auto climate control. can’t imagine why people don’t like it.
i own a tesla model 3 and its extremely dumb the way this works. sure theres auto rain sensing but it never seems to go at the right speed, especially in a fine mist or drizzle. so I have to tap the touch screen twice to do a simple task like set my wipers to slow medium or high. then, when it rains again and i forgot…
i do get somewhat annoyed if my meal is served without obvious condiments and then upon asking I am forgotten. such as fries and no ketchup, or a burger served with zero condiments, or something like that. but after a few minutes I just start eating it anyway. and I never once have made a social media post about it or…
thats a great point. no, I don’t have to do an unlock to open it. just walk up and grab the door handle. there is a glitch every once in an a while where I have to push the wake button on my phone to get the car to unlock, but i can usually do that without taking the phone out of my pocket. it seems to usually decide…
Yea I hate when your key gets so worn down it doesn’t start your car anymore, or even worse when it damages the key cylinder stranding you....mechanical isn’t always better
I reluctantly went to the Tesla system which is all phone and no key, and I admit that I hated it for 2 months but now I love it. I love carrying the proximity key to my wife’s car at all times. I used to have 2 sets of keys bc it would be too bulky otherwise. And the phone works just as well as the proximity key
I assumed it was the same transmission, or at least the same design because of the problems we had. We regularly had transmissions grenade with less than 60k miles. and there was no rebuilt option, it was brand new only. We ran a fleet of NV200s which had their own set of issues but transmissions and suspension wasn’t…
its even worse than what JDE said. for years the had the same style transmission that was the cause of the ford focus transmission class action lawsuit. and they put a commerical van on a focus platform without re-engineering any suspension components, so everything wears out super fast. we had a fleet at work and…
if that stretch of road was downhill and there was a tailwind of any kind, certainly could effect the top speed in big ways. The calculated top speeds assume flat roads with no wind
probably unethical. i just went to a CVS pharmacy yesterday and the tech had on a mask and gloves.
Telling medical workers not to wear any mask at all is probably an ethical violation. In fact, the lack of studies on this subject is due to ethical reasons i.e. getting lots of people sick after exposing them to pathogens to see what does and doesn’t work
The world of science is full of completely non-intuitive results and nobody has definitively tested it. In fact our best discoveries were the result of non intuitive results. So when experts say they don’t know, they really don’t know
“I’m not like the other girls”
Eh, anyone outside of motorcycles sees any loud cruiser with chrome on it and calls it a Harley. That’s not a good thing.
