Screen name checks out

Fill up, finish filling, go inside to pee, buy a drink, maybe wash your windshield. 10-15 minute stop on average

dunking an entire car above the roof in salt water is the Achilles heel of automobiles.

short of this man getting a more severe injury or dying, I can’t imagine this going any worse.

it will definitely be a shuttle, not a bus. and maybe the app would actually tell you were the shuttle is, the eta and all the routes and stops...wait this might actually be a good idea

I haven’t understood the Mercedes lineup in years. They have so many models and trim levels it’s nuts. The article says BMW has nearly as many but maybe it’s because of the naming and organization but it doesn’t seem nearly as complicated.

So why aren’t the radiators in the front?!

*its fine, i guess

if i was the only person on earth and this was the last vehicle on earth, i’d be mad i was driving it.

pretty soon silicon valley is going to “invent” the bus

We aren’t saying your life is dull, only the element ;)

Unless their situation changed they are tackling in a Honda Element currently

I mean this ask screams for 4Runner, insane not to pick it

My autopilot can and has jabbed the brakes for shadows and overpasses which is scary and jarring in its own right (and I suspect a algorithm overcompensation to the problem in the story), so it is amazing to me that it doesn’t see semi trucks.

I’ve gotten free drinks on a southwest flight for a delay. I didn’t ask for it, the crew was just like “yay free drinks everyone” so I don’t know about this federal law stuff.

its a self fulfilling prophecy with the retracting screen. no one used it because certain common actions would automatically re-deploy it. The worst was how it would pop out when you turned the car back on. all the info you need is in the digital cockpit so it was nice to hide it. but constantly fighting to hide it

also the ongoing myth that analog gauges are somehow more reliable. like what could possibly go wrong with a bunch of mechanical bits that make a dial spin around vs zero moving parts? i only recall gauges not working on old mechanical cars and 1980s electronics tbh

shall we go back and find all the articles where they reported on unfair things?

or consipiracy theories fit your narrative, apparently. which gear would you remove today?
