Well said. I like Katie Nolan, a lot. She’s got great perspectives, and a natural likability, but she often strays into over-emoting.

This tweet isn’t probative, but it makes it seem more likely the shirt was real, in which case, the guy certainly deserves to be shamed. Either way, I stand by my original assertion that he doesn’t deserve to “have his life ruined.”

A person wears an incredibly offensive shirt and you want his life ruined?

I thought that line came off as self-deprecating, not self-conscious. But let’s be honest, the majority of the speech (including that line) was probably written by his management team. It was too perfect.
