Really liked the insights and forward your post to a friend. She’s been really stressing over about asking for a raise, so hope that helps her!

Yes, yes and yes. I can’t agree more with your point about “where is the paradise that technology promised us?”.

At some days I’m really struggling to wind down and relax, because it starts with a “let me check FB for the last time”....and some few hours later, I’m still deep diving in some really weird web waters :/

From the tip of my tongue! That’s the exact problem I’ve been facing over and over again with people, who want to do “content marketing” stuff and get those rankings, and audience and global love ;)

For project/task management my new go-to app ishttps://casual.pm/. Guess it’s the only visual project management app out there. It’s sort of combo of a mind-map and a to-do list app. I like that I can break a big project into small steps and place them one-by-one (or simultaneously) on the project canvas, so I can see Read more

If you’re like me, to feel better about not completing your ambitious to-do list, you’ll focus on finishing the many things that are easy and small, and ignore the few things that are difficult and a lot of work. - my case too!

I’ve heard about Habitica previously here and there, but never actually signed up. Read more

10. Haha. Absolutely.

11. Plastic bags are not a thing in France. You don’t get them at supermarkets and stores. Or asked to pay extra if you want one. Green and recycling issues. You typically have 2 big re-usable shopping bags of firm plastic to use for years. Those are pretty solid too and good for packing some Read more

And me too. But I also comb right after the shower. Brushing my curls make them look odd - like something in between straight and curly hair with frizz.

Right, I usually carry a Swiss knife along, so it's kind of all in one. But tools - absolutely, at least a screwdriver.
