the sad part is you see beyonce and kim photographed together a lot anytime they're at the same "highly exclusive" event. beyonce always has this look on her face like 'how do I keep getting seated next to this crazy *ss couple?'

EXACTLY

aisha tyler

Does she think Krieger has made a clone of her (there was something from the previous episode about how krieger has seen her lady bits but not in person)

easy A here. I'm trying to get people's intense dislike of this show, but its one liners are fantastic. Kaling plays off incredibly well against all of the other characters.

It was obvious from the first shot when you saw three black people in one car that one of them was going this episode. I'm still pissed Tyrese had to go because Noah was somehow faster than Ty with a limp leg, and had no impulse control. Then again, better Tyrese than Sasha.

I actually thought it was kind of timely given the focus on the lack internet regulation, especially when it comes to cyber bullying. It also reminded me of the recent Superbowl commercial where coca cola proved that it's such a force for good that it can even wipe out internet hate through accidental spills.

I laughed so hard at that line I was afraid I'd wake up my roommates

Even though I am extremely tempted to correct this, I already edited my comment because I spelled escamole wrong, so I have to live with this.

I think katsuji told Dough that you can't serve escamole raw

exactly. I was prepared for the misleading edit listening to the judges' feedback but I wasn't prepared for Mei's tears. Those tears made me believe, mistakenly, that the feedback genuinely swung in Doug's favor. I honestly thought Mei would be the last person to ever cry on Top Chef-she's just that stoic

As a side note, I loved when Sheldon told Leonard that Penny seems to be the only one in the relationship trying to stay sexy for her partner. Good genetics aside, Penny works for her body- in part because she knows Leonard likes her looks- so he should pass on a cinnabon once in awhile.

IIRC she did question the use of the shrimp for the pink element

I agree. Every time someone criticizes someone else's choice to use a certain ingredient they always say "you could have used something else; [blank] wasn't your only option. Then, surprise surprise, they never suggest anything that could have worked better. Maybe the editor elves cut out the part where Padma did

just as an aside this episode kinda catapulted my respect for Mei, which was dwindling. Sure, I'd probably never talk to my little brother that way, but she might be the first contestant who is ok with the fact that her parents don't approve of her career choice, and she's not trying to use this competition to rectify

If only so. I'm on this site far too much but somehow I still find a way to look down on twitter

edit: just found out through the phillyd show today that california overturned a law banning foie gras in the state. This must be the week for foie gras.

the beginning of the episode really freaked me out because the camera kept focusing on doug reminiscing about katsuji and how the house wouldn't be the same. I thought, in a moment of panic, "wouldn't it be terrible if doug got eliminated on the heels of his angst -y goodbye? Wouldn't that just the pull the rug from
