Yup, there’s a difference in stimuli between them. Virtual death is an outlet of stress, virtual torture is considered worse. Along the lines of virtual sex in that there’s no gratification from it. I find these fan “HD remakes” are always soulless. There’s nothing characteristic going on, but hey kids love them. I just can’t get over the absolutely unwaivering lack of art direction... as if they’re celebrating the fact they have no artistic vision.
