Honestly, when looking at the value of the whole genre of reality TV, American Idol ranks really high. It doesn’t really provide much value, but it’s not a net negative like 95% of other stuff.

We kind of do though: From all reports it was a low speed circle around the building they had left for about an hour, then they went to a cop shop and got in a taxi, whose driver stated it was nothing like a chase and they were never in danger.
