Most people except the die-hard klan types know that racism is bad. They just have very very limited definitions of what "racism" is. If you don't use the n-word or specifically deny a person a job because of their race (and say specifically that's what you're doing, like in literal spelled out words), then it's not

You are totally free to believe it would be easier to stop, but 400 years of history tells me different. Conversations I have had with white liberals about white supremacy, white feminism, and Black Lives Matter tell me different. The conversation I'm having with you tells me different.

They are a large part of the problem, to be sure. But I see no additional benefit to stating that obvious point. They could disappear from the face of the earth and we'd still have a good bit of problem left. It's just easier for those of us who consider ourselves liberal to place all the blame on them.

Yes, I saw it and responded before you edited it to add more detail. I have added an additional response above.

Then we are talking about two different things. You think Trump and his voters are the whole of the problem. I know that to be untrue.

Are you just messing with me now?

I guess I'm not communicating my question well but I can't figure out how else to say it. Random estimates of what? What is the subject matter you are attempting to make estimates about? A technical majority of what items?

50% or so of what? What are you measuring here?

What's not a "majority technically"?

Not everyone is the same, but I think it does everyone a grave disservice when we act like the problem is limited to a small minority of people.

It tickles me that disliking guacamole would make someone un-American. I actually don't like guacamole at all. If anything I prefer the mashed avocado with salt and lemon, but even then that's really rare. I like sliced avocado on tacos and stuff.

I would not say that at all.

Yes. And the myth of the "American Dream" that sold the lie that if you work hard enough you can be anything you want to be. It makes people grow up believing that if you are not successful it's 100% your own damn lazy fault and not at all due to socio-economic-political barriers that were put in place centuries

Woke Aunt Flow?

SPOILER ALERT.

"but the rot in society goes far deeper than the Presidency"

I'll take "The rapists," for $100, Alex.

"The Shreddah uses you!"

Right, right. But it's mashed so it's like peanut butter texturally, and you can put other stuff on it like tomatoes or whatever. Or you could just carry on not eating it as you have. lol It won't change your life or anything. I have to be in the mood for avocado. I don't just salivate for it like a lot of people

I didn't watch any of those. :-/
