MERRY PRISMAS EVERYBODY!

I like Speed Racer and LOVE Cloud atlas. But Jupiter Ascending wasn’t “too smart” or “ahead of it’s time” or even “too complex”. It was just lazy and stupid and boring.

I know it brings a certian tension to the storyline but I’m getting a bit tired of the “This is really the end of the Doctor, no regen now.” storylines. Nearly as bad as the “This companion is twice as special as the last.” themes that seem to run with every new companion since Martha. I love this show. Bring us back

Because we had guys like Cronenberg and Carpenter, honest-to-God auteurs at the top of their respective games who saw something more in these concepts, who masterfully shaped them to fit their own sensibilities and weren’t afraid to go all-out and get super-fucked-up.

Drag Me To Hell isn’t a horror more per-se, it’s more of a horror comedy. Any horror that has a talking demonic goat is not trying be taken seriously.
