As someone who was born and raised in New Hampshire and now lives in Oregon - best move I’ve ever made.

I’m in.

That was my first thought.  This will make for some good lunch-time reading.

Per HUD regulations, one family member must be a US citizen or permanent resident. While non-permanent residents or those who don’t verify their status are eligible to remain in the household, the amount of assistance the households receives is reduced.

As punishment, I say Zinke is forced to pick up trash and clean the poo left behind in the National Parks by this government shutdown.

I didn’t run for election but sure, I guess I personally lost?

Dammit. My job (and therefore, livelihood) depends on government funding for one of the agencies that would be impacted by a shutdown and yet I would happily watch from home, broke and figuring out which Christmas present to burn for heat if it meant not giving a single cent to this fucking wall.

I hope you’re right... this comment got my hopes up.

And we had 28 or 29 last year? I’ll take some of the years well below that to keep the average, thank you very much.

My goodness, someone else that knows Moe’s! It was always my favorite stop in Portsmouth as a kid when we went on summer road trips. There’s one in Manchester that’s a bit closer to where my parents live and every time I’m back in NH it’s always one of my first stops.

I’ve actually done this before. I don’t live too far from the airport and right on the MAX line so there’s been more than one occasion I’ve gone to the airport for dinner, both alone and with family visiting.

The Old Historic Highway (US 30) to Multnomah Falls is a great idea but the road has been closed for a little over a year due to Eagle Creek wildfire in 2017. You can’t access the falls from US 30 anymore, you’ll have to stick with I-84. It’s a narrow road and the turnaround points are limited, so I would recommend
