Patch arrives exactly one day after completing the game! And I reeeeeally completed it, most if not all content and only a couple of mini game ranks and genii gear not done, so I’m not going back. Oh well, it didn’t look as bad to me in performance mode as folks were grousing about.

I still like it, but as time has moved on I found it pretty hard to replay last year. Just about every aspect is underbaked, for the controls to the systems to the story to the voice acting. That isn’t to say bad, just really could have used an overhauled combat/stealth mechanic and a lot more polish. Like….a lot more.

It was touch and go there for a bit. I was playing as a completionist because I’m broken inside, so I was getting all the side quests done, and just giving what I thought were decent but not flirtatious answers to everyone but Tifa. One scene in particular with Aerith late in the game, when you get to admit you had a

Can I pay someone to stop putting this guys face in the thumbnails? I no longer wish to look at dead things.

Great, can’t wait for some MAGA chud congressperson to sip this mug on the House floor without knowing where it came from.

Gross out points to you for the first time I’ve heard “cum-cocoon

I love how much I hate this kid. The writing for him is an absolute masterclass in passive-aggression. His polite putdowns are positively Canadian-grade.

“Cloud, good news. Your failure in that previous combat challenge gave me the data needed to create an easy-baby mode!”

“Cloud, in order to study the planet, we need

Well, they picked the right default Shepard for the box art.

Is it just me, or does the key art make Vanessa Kirby look like a young, blonde Björk?

Seems like doing this has worked not only for the stated purpose of getting lost in a busy month of releases, but also, there are multiple sites mentioning it, thus, it’s getting noticed more than if would otherwise.

I played and liked the demo a while back, and so it was already on my radar, but given it’s middle

I fucking hate rich people.

This was directly stated in FF7 Remake. Like, not a hint, not a theme, it’s just stated, it’s what the whole ghostly entities are doing. I guess you could say it’s making it a multiverse, because everything is a multiverse now, but it still is explicitly showing it’s a sequel by doing so. I would get this article if

Actually, I don’t think I’d mind going out naked and wet, regardless of location.

What my brain is imagining is a wobble factor. things being off by just enough, or enough wear and tear over time to alter the track a bit so the cart rams into the fake track. Again, it’s my own mind conjuring it, but I think I’d still pass on this one.

I think it’s a questions of personal tastes to some extent, and how my tastes have changed over the years. GTA was hilarious to me when I was younger, and GTA 5 was actually alright in its main storyline too. But the surround jokes that were satirizing American culture ended up feeling crass to me, an instances of

I’m sure the engineering checks out for the most part, but I still see enough potential points of failure in my minds eye to never get on this thing.

So, just as a bit of a public service announcement, there is about 14 minutes of additional story stuff. I started a new game and got to the title and realized it really was going to ask me the play the entire game again, which even without the scouring for collectables I did on the first play through was more than I

Just depressing, thanks.

Real Bummer. I dropped off Destiny back after the Moon expansion, but I still have fond memories of the game.

The more I see it, the more I think that studios should live, and yes, possibly die, independent. Once you go public and/or are bought by a publicly traded company, you are on a death clock before you get
