There’s a series called Blood and Honey, which is faeries battling demons. The male character is brutally raked and that trauma is a huge aspect of his development. I hate the use of rape as a convention, but I thought it was handled well in that series

I think the true horror is when you think back on it, and realize all of those terrible things they have been doing were for nothing. Those terrible, ritualistic murders are for absolutely nothing, and they always had been. It’s just true, true horror.

They are going to portray themselves as victims anyway.

We’re not talking about trans women having male privilege. We’re talking about a particular trans woman who is still stuck in her white male privilege frame. And it’s a perfectly accurate description of that one particular trans woman.
