@AustinMiniMan: heartCLICK for the range rover. Been driving a 97 p38a for the past 7 years. I have no plans of selling it since I don't think I could bear to see it go. Because of this, I always get the oil changed at 3k on the dot, take care of any mechanical niggles myself and fill the tank with premium. I want to

@ceilingFANBOY: exactly why I can't give up my ipod classic. I NEED the storage space for music. Add apps and photos into that mix and the 32 gb is going to fill fast.

most. confusing. chart. ever.

Yawn. Call me back when the real, working prototype actually looks and functions like this. The reason most electric stoves dont have more than 4 burners is for the amp draw... I can't even begin to think what this thing would draw amperage-wise with all 15 or 21 burners on.

the lead photo is haunting. I want to look away but... cant.

@3V3RYMAN: My buddy is in med school, and had cadaver lab. he coined a term: when you came out of the lab after a long day, you were covered in what he called "dead guy grease"

My etymotic er-6i's were about 80, and worth it for the seal and sound attenuation alone. I love being able to ride on the subway, PATH train, airplane, or sit in a noisy room and completely have my own little listening world in my head. There's something euphoric about listening to Coltrane on a train. Its also

pfft. Top Gear crammed an English cottage into a car.

@Bubs: mercedes does make some cheap-er cars for the type of normal people who can't buy a 100k car with cash.

Fun fact: recessed lighting (hi-hats or whatever lingo you choose to use) have thermocouples inside the can to detect when a bulb of too much wattage is being used. If you put a 100w in a fixture only designed for 60w, the thermocouple heats up and breaks the connection. Once the fixture has cooled down, the

@dispicable: These are the same people who think 'Jeep' is a style of car, not a registered trademark of Chrysler.

I nearly forgot this one:

I told my sister when she was learning to drive that the best thing you can do to make yourself a better driver is to focus on using your brakes as little as possible. Timing your stops, keeping your following distance on the highway, smoothly passing people... it all relates to not braking unnecessarily. My mother,

@slowurroll: I was watching! First it started falling over... then it fell over!

I love the photo of the ford raptor. It appears the wheels aren't turning, so it looks like when a dog gets really excited about something and starts jumping up and down on all fours.

@alan505: thats the first thing I thought of too. That car is actually this one...

I love writing in cursive. I don't do it enough. I went to a catholic school so I used it continually all through high school. It's actually far far faster to take notes that way than writing in print.

@Curves: Weatherband would be useful too. I have it in my car and use it all the time as a faster method of getting info than sitting thru 20 minutes of nonsense and then not hearing the weather for your area.

@Juaco: This reminds me of women I see wearing muslim headscarves (that I've just learned are called hijab) who tuck their phone between the scarf and their ear. I guess the scarf is tight enough to hold the phone in place. Pretty intuitive, I think.
