The water heater will break, and you'll hold the phone in your hand before you remember there's no one to call for advice except a plumber.

Yeah, all of this. I'm a Home Hospice Nurse, and I've worked in both Hospitals and Nursing Homes, and this hits everything. We ask about funeral homes right away because while it sucks to ask then, it is a little easier than at time of death, when the family's emotions are just raw.
