Get out.

I bet he wishes he didn't hit that first drive so baddeley.

Racist? Come on, Samer. This dog doesn't even see color.

Thank goodness for the small acts of resistance of front-line employees. Poor guys.

Whoa. I knew Cowboys fans were slow on the uptake. But this is ridiculous.

And if there's anything a Dallas city official knows, it's how to react to someone getting shot in the gut.

This became an unexpected gem of a comment.

My favorite part is thinking about how excited those guys were to "correct" you.

Later in the interview, he calls the Hardy signing a "shot in the gut."

You don't say!

Rawlings should tell Jerry Jones that as long as Hardy remains on the roster, the Cowboys cannot play a single game in his city.

Very, very good read. Fucking GREAT read, actually. I came to Deadspin a few years ago for the dick jokes and whatnot, but stuff like this I really, truly appreciate.

I don't know how to say what I want so I'll just share what I said to my Mom, who lost her battle with cancer 6 years ago.

My dad just passed away on 12/10/14. He was 65. It fucking sucks, he was a great guy. Everything was going along just fine. He retired a few years ago and was enjoying life. Traveling around with my mom, fucking adoring the shit out of his new grand-son (my nephew), just loving life. Never seen him so happy.

You'll see Facebook posts about Mother's Day and throw your laptop at the wall. You'll see the "Dads and Grads" banner over the card aisle at Target and try not to throw up. The water heater will break, and you'll hold the phone in your hand before you remember there's no one to call for advice except a plumber.

Yeah, all of this. I'm a Home Hospice Nurse, and I've worked in both Hospitals and Nursing Homes, and this hits everything. We ask about funeral homes right away because while it sucks to ask then, it is a little easier than at time of death, when the family's emotions are just raw.

So much great advice here, and really well-written too.

This was incredible, and exactly what I needed right now.
