Each state still got a say in your crazy scenario. Each state voted for someone. Each state got their allotted electoral votes. Candidate with most electoral votes wins.  That’s the system we have and will have for a very, very long time.  Enjoy your weekend being mad about the electoral college!

If someone wins exactly 50.1% of the vote in the 12 largest states but doesn’t get a single vote in the other 39 (counting DC,) according to the EC, they win and become president.

They aren’t, but people in California and New York shouldn’t be able to impose their will on the whole country, just because their thought bubble is bigger. The electoral college and senate keeps one ideology from taking over, it’s a genius idea, and the people who are calling for it’s elimination fail to see that one…

With blind spot systems so prevalent now, how far away is technology that can tell when you’re getting passed on the right, and it tells the driver to move over? Preferably, it would have a loud, obnoxious sound until the lane change occurs. I’d celebrate that and eagerly accept it as standard equipment.

Fixed that one for you. Your one vote won’t make a difference. Just ignore it completely. If you are inclined to vote then wait until your day comes and look at the candidates and pick one and then go vote for them. Everything else is mudslinging and will do nothing but make you upset.
