I had the same issue.  I ended up with a roof-mounted antenna, and it changed everything.  If you don’t want to mount one on the roof, the attic might work, or a balcony, or a pole outside.

Can confirm.  The “limit handling” class was much fun!

GM owns miles of test track, where they can open the cars up under controlled conditions without risking killing some kid on a bicycle or something like that.

Iran, via Soleimani, was planning military strikes against the US and US interests.

Voting for the candidate you actually want isn’t being part of the problem.

Nice! I wish you the best of luck.

No love for EDraw’s MindMaster? That has revolutionized how I write specifications and other work (and school) documents. It’s a mind mapping tool, but the killer feature is that you can export the map to a Word document in text format. It then creates the docx file with all of the headings and a table of contents.

Or some software engineer putting an “easter egg” in the targeting pod’s camera software!

The next time they tell you to switch seats, start with a “no thanks” or a “are you asking me or telling me?”

Completely agree.  With enough pressure, this could happen.

If someone did that to me, I’d have to hurt them more to get good value for my money. Just to be sure.

I don’t see the point of a really expensive natural gas powered generator for most people. Yeah, they are great, but..for $10k+ I can take a luxury cruise with the entire family for 10 days while they restore power if the worse comes to the worse.

You sound like a stand-up person. Keep me in mind if you ever need a technical product manager. Willing to relocate.  :-)

Now THAT’S a movie!  :-D

I keep a flashlight by my bed, in case I need to investigate something in the middle of the night. Those odd noises in the middle of the night usually aren’t someone breaking in. That flashlight is also happens to be attached to a handgun in case it is. That, and a smartphone to dial 911 and control various Hue lights
