Doctor Strange 2 doing nearly as much domestically in its first weekend as the first movie did in its entire run is why Marvel never panics about “modest” first-movie money takes. They have the patience to let heroes find their audience over time, through home release and crossover adventures.

Yep, looks like people are definitely sick and tired of Marvel movies.

She’s talking an awful lot of shit for someone who recently championed Halloween Kills.

The movie has modest aims even as a MCU multiverse movie, but in terms of "MCU but it's Drag Me To Hell", I enjoyed it quite a bit on that front

Republicans don’t deny in disgrace anymore. They have no shame at all and just deny anything bad said about them as a liberal plot.

“just existing” is the problem to them.

For a party so hellbent on complaining about cancel culture, the Grand Old Party seems to be really obsessed with cancel culture.

Are we taking bets on how many of these five Republican senators will later resign in disgrace after being caught soliciting another guy for sex? It’s got to be at least three, right?

Holy shit. These fuckers are emboldened as hell. This isn’t about sexual content at all. Disney characters aren’t going down on each other on The Disney Channel. What these senators are opposing is LGBTQ+ people just *existing.*

Parents can read the descriptions of shows and decide if it’s appropriate for their child.

Saw Doctor Strange 2, last night. Let me tell you, the trailers do a really good job at twisting things and misleading you. The movie was an absolute blast!! If you like Raimi’s previous work, you won’t be disappointed. 10/10

It would be easier that way, and it is addressed.

Well, it was better than Season 1 I’ll give it that. Unfortunately, the sum was less than its parts and I would have preferred some different story choices.

I agree in some respects, but there’s also another crucial difference. Back when TNG was on, episodes were generally self contained. A “good” episode meant that you got an complete story, which could be enjoyed while ignoring the terrible episode before or after it. With the current show, which is essentially a long

One of the small details I really enjoyed was Tawaret’s ear wiggles. Nothing big but it was just like a hippo. I thought it was a nice touch.

Yeah, because if there’s one thing hardcore Christians are known for, it’s changing their minds in the face of scientific evidence.

(More serious answer: Until the finale of Moon Knight, no one in the MCU knew the Egyptian Gods existed except for their avatars, and Thor only came to Earth like 8 years ago. So this

There are two sure-fire ways to hide yourself in fiction.

I really enjoyed it, but if I had one criticism it would be that it didn’t make enough of the potential of the multiversal traversal (hey, that rhymes!).

I would HIGHLY recommend watching WandaVision before seeing Mutliverse of Madness. It’ll help you understand Wanda’s goals and what drives her. I also recommend watching Loki and also What If?!... just to keep up on the multiverse storyline.

Without spoilers, reading the review, yes you need to watch Wandavision to get some of the character’s main motivations. I guess you wouldn’t have to, but it’ll help.
