People who care that much about spoilers are in the minority. If not knowing the spoiler makes or breaks the movie, then it isn’t a good movie. Personally I would like actors to answer all questions truthfully from now on, as to whether they are in the movie or not. There’s no point in asking anyway if we’re not going…
There’s nothing in the most recent trailers and commercials that hasn’t already been spoiled or widely speculated upon for a while. Kevin Feign recently admitted that at this point keeping everything under wraps is a futile effort, but they have tried to make sure that even if certain things get spoiled, the movies…
One can hope it means that the movie doesn’t depend on cameos to be good.
There's no particular relationship between having a completed script and being a good movie. Turbulent productions can make good movies, and efficient productions can make bad ones. It's not terribly likely that the nth MCU movie, a sequel to one that nobody particularly loved, is going to spin dross into gold. But it…
Famously, Casablanca didn’t have an ending until they were almost ready to shoot it, and that turned out OK.
Coming from Alex Kurtzman and the same producers and writers from Discovery and Picard I am not having high hopes. I hope im wrong but so far im just too tired of Star Trek being all about being edgy, dark and action orientied.
they really need to hire better writers.
Discovery and Picard really make me miss episodic storytelling. everything in those shows is just so dumb and badly written. I wonder if the people writing them have ever even watched a Star Trek show.
I finally realized that’s one of the things I dislike about Disco and Picard, you have to watch them in order.
The serialized storytelling doesn’t bother me. DS9 did it right, weaving an overall plot with standalones. But what I’m most hopeful for is a Trek that recaptures that sense of optimism and adventure that still recognizes humanity’s shortcomings (but shows we can overcome them).
Oh dear Guardian of Forever I hope not. I don’t want to base my expectations on this based on Disco.
A lot of the MCU from Iron Man - Endgame was thrown together and making pieces fit to get to an end point.
That’s all thanks to T Boone Pickens, who had to fight tooth and nail to make it happen and ended up abandoning it in 2010. But others still carried on to this day.
Nihilism is often the result of spending your life in a sanctuary and with an endless money faucet. So yes, they very much do not care about the world around them and outside their sanctuaries, and are the ones dictating our lives.
Perceived return on investment.
Republicans, man they love freedom!
Why do conservatives actually want to live in a miserable, fallen world?
The party of small government strikes again.
Fuck Texas. Is there a gif of Bugs Bunny tying it to a rocket and launching it into outer space?
