They are not gullible. They’re in an incredibly difficult position. The majority of Americans support DACA but do not support shutting down the government over it. I would argue they should do what is right and shut down the government until the 2018 midterms to get a DACA deal if needed, but that might cost them the

Best laugh of the day!

Ah, the old “takers” versus “makers” argument. What a tired canard. If you are in an accident and paralyzed from the neck down I hope you stick to your principles.

I worry that the ideological purists are going to ruin it for everybody and we’ll have another four years of Trump. All because the ideologically pure don’t like their choices and stay home, or vote for a third-party nobody.

Unfortunately we have an electorate that seems to think the grass is always greener on the other side, so the pendulum continually swings back and forth no matter how crazy one party gets.

“We have the government we deserve.”

The immigrants aren’t the problem. The redistribution of wealth to the 1% and corporations is.

If the Dems ever hold the Senate again and a Republican president tries to fill a Supreme Court vacancy, they sure as hell better filibuster and cite the McConnell doctrine.

Unfortunately, the Republicans have not faced much consequences for their malfeasance. November can’t get here fast enough.

I’ll give him until February 8.

If Al Gore was president and 9/11 happened, he would’ve been impeached. Our country is tragically skewed to the crazy right wing nutjobs even though they’re the minority.

I understand your frustration, but I think this is a good strategy. If the Dems cave again without getting a DACA deal then I will happily grab my pitchfork and torch.

Indeed. You get the government you deserve. Unfortunately, the haters are ruining it for us decent folk.

I like how you brandished nuance using the dialect of a five year old. Well played.

Stop being nuanced! This has to be a black and white discussion to get the clicks!

Unfortunately, the way the system is set up is sensationalist, offensive, and hyperbolic articles generate clicks which generate revenue which is why people like Rafi have a job.

Rafi, as I’m writing this GingerAiles has 591 stars to your 199. Maybe you should consider presenting information in an informed-non-sensationalist manner. However, I guess sensationalism leads to clicks, hence why we can’t have nice things anymore. Like nuance.

ICE isn’t going to do shit. They’re like the Nazis in Hogans Heroes. A bumbling bunch of idiots.

Yep. A hetero-white male. Didn’t even need to take that FBI profiling class.
