If they’re using that word, especially just in private, they ain’t fair-weather racists, they’re straight up racists. The klan wears masks to hide their identities, and they aren’t fair weather. Just because they’re not making gorilla gestures at every black person they encounter doesn’t discount the racism.

I just don’t get it. Many white people - ones that grow up in sheltered white communities - use the n-word and display racism...but only behind closed doors and/or surrounded by company they feel comfortable with. Only a small minority of white people are outwardly racist, most are fair-weather in their prejudice.

Honestly at this point, I’d be more surprised for a black person to say that they had never been called the N-word. The fuck is wrong with people?

Frankly, I wouldn’t hire anyone related to a Lions player to do contract work. I have sincere doubts that they’d know how to finish.

You could’ve driven from SF on the 101, listened to the entire game on the radio, and arrived at the stadium in a quick 15 or 18 hours.

I would have snapped up one of those $17 tickets that everyone was making fun of last night, but even if I bought one at 3:00 p.m., the goddamn stadium is so far form the city, I’d still miss the first quarter taking the train down there.

And I remember reading sometime last year that the DOD pays for it. None of these giant ‘Murica flags are at the NFL’s cost. It’s truly disgusting.

I believe it’s called “jingoism” at this point. Though I bet that if paid the right sum of money, the NFL would open a football field sized box of Papa Johns pizza during the national anthem.
