Jesus Christ, it’s a very clean RETAIL RED Toyota Convertible with a five speed and a FULL SERVICE HISTORY. $4500 is a very fair price.

Only fault is the 3 owner history. $8,500 in a heartbeat (no pun intended) if it were a one owner with 100% documented service history. It’s a damn nice car. I would negotiate on that price, but it is NP.

Seems like just yesterday I was buying these off the street for 2 grand. Then I remember yesterday was 20 years ago.

This should hit 90% NP. It won’t, but it should. Pending inspection this thing is worth all the asking price.

Having spent 12 years with a 1975 Eldorado Convertible may I interject that anyone who complained about long term comfort or ease of handling on long interstate trips is hopelessly full of shit.

Close.. Really close. Texan here, its Cah-La-Rad-AH.

Having only seen photos of the upgrade interior that still looks bland, I imagine the base model will not be a very inviting place to spend time. $35,000 can buy a very nice car. But hey, It’s electric! Whoohoo! At less than $2 a gallon I say screw it. Gimme a Hemi Charger.

Yeah, no warranty.... Have fun with that.

This is a $700 car folks. Wrong engine, dead paint, not road worthy, awful interior... For TWO Grand?? I have junked nicer cars than this. CP and it ain’t close.

New York State? I’m sure that there is nothing to hide under that wrap. Yep, nothing to hide at all. CP.

On negotiating from Dealers invoice, remember that most manufacturers will often have “hidden” rebates on specific models. These are manufacturers to dealer incentives beyond the traditional “holdback” and are not advertised to the public. It is totally at the Dealers discretion as to how to use this money in making a

I believe he had to helicoil several head bolts. That would be a definite possibility.

Dear Portland Anarchists, how about cleaning up the trash left at all the homeless encampments along the interstate highways in Portland? Seriously, it’s disgusting.

Random crank failure? How about 100% failure rate on a small fleet of 1993 HD3500s? 7 trucks, 7 broken cranks. All between 100 and 130k miles. Oh, and I still wake up in a cold sweat thinking about those damn injector pumps.

Having grown up at Longhorn Speedway may I submit that it’s original name was far better. “Austin Speed-O-Rama” Goddamn I miss that 3/8th mile bullring.

Insta CP until I read the article on the build. Mucho respecto to this math teacher. None on my teachers were this cool. NP.

As a teenager in the 80's these cars were what we all drove. It’s amazing that this thing still exists. I will give a NP purely out of respect but it is priced about 2 grand over market. If it were an Olds Cutlass in this condition, color, and trim it would be worth closer to 12 thousand.

The GM style belts were a far better option than the motorized “Mouse” belts. If you have ever been hit in the head by that damn mouse getting out of a car too fast you too would come to appreciate the truly passive nature of the GM system. Of course if you were to purchase a new Pickup or truck based SUV of that era

Normally I would see used late model MB think insta-CP, especially with those hideous aftermarket headlights... But this car is so damn nice overall.. Screw the reasons not to buy. NP.
