Her career really has been touch and go lately, but it seems she's really pulled through.

Good for Beyonce. It’s nice that sometimes things go her way.
I think it’s more “Meh” than very bad. It’s actually amazing they haven’t made a movie I wanted to skip during my recent re-watch of them all. This and Thor 2 aren’t great but they’re still totally watchable and have moments.
Iron Man 2 is, of course, very bad, but I still think the Iron Man briefcase is one of the cooler moments in the franchise. Later movies got way over the top with Iron Man’s armour, with them automatically latching onto him or shooting out of a satellite, but the briefcase suit is a far more interesting emergency suit…
“So kinda the point though. Despite the spec bumps this is the same device you bought years ago. It’s not anything new. And it shouldn’t still cost $400.”
Sir, this is an Arby’s.
When you see one set of footprints
I know Don Cheadle is a straight upgrade to Terrence Howard, but I rewatched Iron Man last night and I definitely buy Terrence Howard more in the role of “guy who would be friends with Tony Stark and put up with his shit.”
I hear Ed Norton and Terrence Howard are setting up their own superhero cinematic universe, with blackjack and hookers.
Is that you Mr Pink?
Look I like BP too but if we're ranking movies there's no way Spider-Verse isn't top spot. I can think of numerous problems with BP whereas I'm stymied for ideas at S-V.
So do I have to tip the ten people down the row who delivered it from his hands as well?
Why don’t they just fix the crappy selfie aspect ratio and low resolution issues on new big screen smartphones? Isn’t nice selfies basically the ONLY reason people use it and why people are leaving it for Instagram?
They don’t really pay Sam, they just roll a bottle of cheap whiskey into his hovel every week or so.
Thanks, Captain Obvious. I can’t believe you got paid to write this.
with the war on terror, special forces have become high profile, which is why every random sheriffs deputy and paranoid nut wants to be those guys. so they copy their mannerisms, which have become standard post 9-11 film making.
Our healthcare/insurance “system” is so fucked.
This. Much of my enjoyment of Keanu Reeves in John Wick came from the fact that despite the fact that he’s an outlandish Grim Reaper, I absolutely believe that he’s so good at murdering that he can anticipate when someone will come out of a door, just because I’ve seen the dude reload a rifle real good.
It’s important to get it right. I don’t shoot guns or train in tactical engagement, but I do work in IT. When I watch an actor use a computer in a way that computers cannot be used, it’s like a big bright spotlight and I can’t unsee it. I imagine it is a similar feeling when real international assassins watch actors…
“bizarro Hollywood practice of actors learning how to fake-kill really well by real soldiers”
