Well said. I really want to throw the verb version of effect and the noun version of affect into the mix, but they’re so rarely used that it’d be a dick move. Andrew, just listen to tbp0701.

Ignore the Elon fellators in 1.
Well, there’s an aspect of AI and its Machine Learning subset that everyone conveniently avoids. The definition of sentience.
People are dicks.
People are already attempting to troll them by doing risky things in front of them to see how they will react. They are literally picking a fight with these cars to see if they will take a protective measure. People are dicks.
As a career? Hell no, and neither do the majority of people who work there. It’s a job you take because you need a job, just like a fast food job or some dumb retail position. That said; there was a time when you took any job (hopefully the best one you could get, even if it meant selling cars), instead of begin a…
When you go into something with that shitty of an attitude, of course it’s going to be terrible. The customer sets the tone for their experience as much as the sales person does. You walk in with some false chip on your shoulder, you’re in for a long ride.
It’s the cool thing to hate on in the “journalism” world anymore. I’m sure he wrote it from his Apple computer while sipping a Starbucks, wearing Nikes.
Hurr durr capitalism is bad because it is the only system that even remotely works...
“Much of the Jalopnik office is currently arguing whether or not Elon is joking putting the figure at $420 per share.”
Wages aren’t flat. No, they’re not increasing as much as they should due to the additional entries into the labor market, bringing the labor supply up, but they are up, 3% consistently YOY. If your wages are flat, maybe you should look into a new job, since there’s no reason to put up with it in this economy.
This deserves all the dog/moose stars from New Hampshire/Maine/Oregon/Vermont/Washington.
Tariffs on Subarus. Just another part of Trump’s diabolical plan to piss off liberals.
As a motorcyclist I REALLY don’t like this idea. You could be as firmly planted and balanced as the Statue of Liberty but an unanticipated change in forces is never going to be a good thing. To me the VERY best outcome of any such automated intervention would be a lowside with hopefully no 18-wheeler doing 65 right beh…
Hopes, dreams, unicorn farts.
Neutral: develop an Uber or Lyft type app for tractor-trailer drivers and offer an avocado toast bonus to the millennials who sign up.

5th Gear: Moving the auto show to June would be perfect, especially if they can pull it off during the Indy Dual in Detroit. You already have all the media in town for the race, and what better backdrop for Dodge to Unveil the 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Lucifer’s Hemorrhoid with 2000 HP and even more torques.
Aren’t all tariffs a form of extortion?
Your response is why I have a hard time believing “news” outlets anymore. No one checks the other side of the story anymore, its just a rush to get the story out and get those advertising clicks.
