Another issue that Bourdain noted in Kitchen Confidential is that the same friends who say you should open a restaurant are the same ones that keep dropping by and expects a bunch of comps and freebies and never pick up a check.

Fucking Oddjob.

Code Monkeys was/is Seth Mcfarlane-tier “us gamerz xD” trash and the one thing it had going for it was a unique art style it squandered by making it some of the most hideous pixel art ever stillborn.

Bring back Code Monkeys (and G4)

Give him a break, eating that boot is the only chance at a dinner break he’s gonna get while in crunch.

Damn, son. You're supposed to lick the boot, not eat it.

Where I work Crunch is treated exactly as that, failure on the part of management, and that’s who sees repercussions for crunch. Because of this, crunch almost never happens, because crunch means managers losing jobs. Crunch is wasted money in more than one way.

Fuck CDPR.

Johnson kind of threads a weird needle with it. He does acknowledge there’s a kinship between the two of them, and something that could definitely be more defined down the line. But as of that point, whatever you want to call it, romantic sure as Hell ain’t it.

There’s a bloomin’ onion on this menu. A fucking bloomin’ onion. Who the hell is eating here/paying these prices? Why? And sweet corns? Is it a mix of a variety of corn? Several different sweet corns from around the world? Or do you get several mini cobs of corn? Even so, corn is both singular and plural if you’re

Have you looked at tuition prices lately?

'What's so new about what you're saying?

Yes, but I don't think you graduated with essentially a debt equivalent to owning a house. This from a baby boomer.

Hey, at least you have Justin Beiber Norwood. ;P GEN X RULES! :D

Boomers caused both bubbles. They are the ones controlling the money supply and the interest rates and they are the ones that decided that investments should be made into various industries. And they are the ones that will soon retire and have the power to suck this country dry.

oh yeah, mixtapes (and later burned CDs) were "free" music back in the day... you just might have some kind of ad or sound effect right before or after your song. A small price to pay!
