Nah. Like I said in the original post, I just really, really like his last name. As a proud feminist I had some reservations about it, but ultimately, I think the feminist choice is to do whatever feels right to you without worrying about somehow disappointing or letting down women or feminism as a whole. Men make

We discussed it and ultimately went with his.

He wanted us to have the same last name. Family unity and all.

I changed my last name to my husband’s when we got married. He’s a big feminist, but it was important to him, and because of his feminist attitude I felt that changing my name signified the start of our own family unit, rather than selling out to the patriarchy. It kills me that women feel like one decision that they

Someone please explain to me the utility of not eating peppers, tomatoes, or eggplant. I can wrap my head around dairy, sugar, even gluten (although I think it’s ridiculous to cut out gluten if you don’t actually have celiac). A tomato is basically water. How is a tomato verboten but a cucumber seems to be okay?

Someone “Axe-bombed” a stairwell in my dorm freshman year. The place smelled like a thirteen-year-old boy for days.

NERC: “THIS IS WHY YOU CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS”

I can speak only for my dog, but he would effing love to lick green Kool-Aid off himself all day. Probably not the best thing for him, but he would have zero regrets. (P.S. I would never dye my dog any color, as he’s jet black and it would never work, but also because I think it’s weird.)

No firsthand experience, but I have multiple friends who have been through treatment at Renfrew and are living normal and healthy lives today. Seems like it’s one of the good ones.

To be fair, he’s pretty untested on civil rights issues at this point, so we don’t know for sure. RBG was also considered a centrist when she was nominated, and she tends to side with the liberals.

+1 for the use of “truculent” in a sentence. SAT tutors everywhere are weeping with pride.

Yeah, my ideal candidate would have been Jane Kelly, but I get the thinking here.

Shrewd move on Obama’s part. Garland is a centrist who has voted with both sides in the past. Republicans are going to have a tough time justifying their fuckery. And yet...here we go, I’m sure.

We shouldn’t even be having this conversation. If memory serves, the decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey determined that states could pass laws restricting abortion, as long as it didn’t place “undue burden” on women. I think at this point, there’s plenty of evidence that “undue burden” has been placed, time and

“The one person that Hillary and Bill Clinton do not want to see on that stage is Donald Trump,” Christie continued[.]

Thank you all for this thread! #Hillary2016

So wait...Trump can evolve on the abortion issue, but we’re still talking about Hillary Clinton’s support for the Iraq war?

Edited. Original point still stands.

She gets to avert her eyes- but does she get to cover her ears while they “describe” the unborn child as well? Clearly the “describing” is an attempt to humanize the fetus, therefore shaming the woman into keeping it because once it’s humanized, abortion = murder = you’re a horrible person. I really hope that this

Same question. I will also throw into the mix that she could be talking about all the antibiotics/hormones given to livestock and we’re consuming them via meat/dairy products.
