“Hey, Chris Christie, maybe help us out with all this snow!”

At first I thought “Massa-too-setts” was a really hamfisted way of trying to make the point that there are “two sets” of kids in Massachusetts- one that gets a good education, and one that doesn’t.

My first thought when I saw the photo: Inverted nipple.

:::slow clap:::

I work in marketing. We are an insufferable bunch.

I can’t unsee this mental image.

Shhh. Marketing types don’t like it when you point out how grossly they’re overthinking things.

What I mean is that they should value a woman’s insight, not argue with it. They don’t use the product and would have a hard time accurately envisioning the consumer experience. It’s cliche, but this is why diversity is important in marketing.

...but as a man, you don’t GET to have one.

They didn’t “invoke the authority of the NYPD” and that means the NYPD isn’t responsible? So if they had, like, flashed their badges at her or something prior to groping her, then they would have been fired? It’s not like they hid the fact that they were cops. They were there to INTERVIEW HER ABOUT A RAPE, for fuck’s

Wait, wait, I think this could work...

Sadly, I went to college before smartphones were ubiquitous. I do miss playing snake on my little Nokia, though.

I mean, I’ve know people who like to sleep in sinks and on windowsills, but eventually everyone realizes that pregaming with cheap tequila is a bad idea.

Agree, but they still call themselves pro-life. I’m pointing out the terminology that the anti-abortion crowd uses (politicians and otherwise) notwithstanding the fact that it’s actually incorrect. If the argument for outlawing abortion is that life begins at conception, it shouldn’t then end at birth.

I wonder how many of the “prominent male politicians on the national level” who don’t think that paid leave is important are also spouting platitudes on the importance of motherhood on Mother’s Day or calling themselves pro-life.

Former D1 rower here. Everyone who has ever touched a rowing machine without any sort of coaching (from a rowing coach, not a personal trainer at the gym- those guys don’t know anything either) is doing it wrong. Legs —> back —> arms is a fine place to start, and you’re correct that the majority of the power is

Kids these days! I hope you were wearing the dissent collar just to make a point.

RBG: “With that weak jabot game? Please.”

Not to mention that Obama has done plenty to support those ways that actually matter. I don’t think veterans are worried about the amount of platitude-ridden adulation they’re going to get when they’re worried about having a roof over their heads, a steady income, and health insurance. Because, you know, human

I don’t think you can call Planned Parenthood part of the “establishment” if so many “establishment politicians” are in favor of defunding it.
