To paraphrase Stalin, Form is a Function all its own.

The Hollywood Foreign Pervs Association

I might add that for all her newfound Wokeness, she's also still managing to stumble on some low-level insensitivity: http://www.avclub.com/artic…

Will look for the Thai place. For all the quality Italian around, Bel Campo is very much a favorite.

I moved away twenty years ago. So there. Yeah - back when downtown existed for Skid Row, knockoffs on Santee Alley, prom at the Bonaventure, or employment in legal or finance.

Shea was ultimately the only queen who didn't have anything prepared (or at least, didn't deploy it) that would qualify as a 'stunt'. Trinity and Pepper both pulled out reveals (doubly so in Pepper's case), Pepper pulled out glitter. Trinity got in a tumble or so.

Agree to disagree. I found all three runners up performed more than admirably; outright slaying their performances. In isolation, they were the kinds of performances that could and would garner dramatic levels of love on YouTube and other social media.

Cue seven Dorothy Gales, and three 'In Concert at Carnegie Hall's.

Hot Take: I actually really liked Andromeda, mostly because the Ryders were written with much greater specificity.

This has had me thinking hard on what canonical gay icons are left for "Night of a Thousand" challenges. RiRi certainly has had some great entries, but your'e right that she's still quite a few years off from having a deep and broad enough fashionne presence to make it worthy of a challenge unto itself. On one hand, the final arbiter of who decides how much a rule is being bent to the point of breaking is Ru herself. And she's the one who offered the Paris is Burning "It. Is. Not. A. Rain. Bow. Dress!" critique.

Am I wrong in having read last week's Fashion Foto Ruview as casting a bit of not-all-that-joking shade to Valentina from Raven and/or Morgan?

Still feeling robbed by the ending of Mass Effect 3 over here.

It seemed like the audience was mostly pretty galvanized behind Raja, with generous support for Manila. Poor Alexis, even as the self-proclaimed Team Talent queen in the finals, didn't seem to quite garner the long-term support the others have.

1) Even if people deride a great many elements of the narrative of this season, I hope there's general agreement we've had a pretty solid surfeit of talent, even digging well down into the weeds.

Can I put in a quick point to Sasha's 'Hopelessly Devoted to You'?

I suppose in fairness, at least three of those examples might have given the benefit to the beloved underdog, represented by Adore, Manila, and Katya. I can't imagine the fanbase being too upset by those choices.

1) Diversity of talent in non-traditional drag is certainly something the finale could stand to help encourage. Though again, I imagine queens would stand to make the advances their post-Race opportunities afford them. Just look how we were talking about poor Katya and Ginger having needed a bit more time to marinate

The competitive format of the show still owes much to the pageant system in function, if not necessarily in detail. The past few Reunionales have lost so much of the immediacy and hunger that legitimate competition can ignite in queens that can otherwise be the most kumbaya sisterly.

I absolutely Jodie Foster this behavior.
