I, too, am a native. A few thoughts:

Don’t get hung up too much on BMI. Body composition is far more important. Take an athletic person and put their numbers in, and more often than not, it will show them as overweight, if not obese. Granted, there are exceptions (marathon runners, etc.), but the point being that BMI isn’t the best metric. Try options 3…
