Alright, let’s think through your arguments. The average car is owned 3 years. This car thereby saves you 2400 miles. Let’s say, conservatively, the non hybrid averages 30mpg. That’s 80 gallons of gas. Let’s pretend the cost is ONLY a $1000. Gas has to get to $12.50 per gallon to make it worth it.
