There’s some hoops, but not insurmountable.  Biggest is that you have to own it free and clear, so no loan, no lease, and you’ll likely pay more for the vehicle than just the exchange differential, as cars are freakin’ expensive in Canadia.

I average 41mpg driving back and forth in Houston traffic about 2hrs a day.  The problem is about half of that drive is at 80mph, and the rest is crawl/stop and go.  I’ve had not one issue *knock on wood* to date, and I guess part of my pleasure is that I was OTD on it for under $18K new.

Take a look at the C-Max as well.  I’ve had mine for about a year, and they have been very aggressively priced, and are seemingly like a Tardis, as they’re much bigger inside.
